Today I finally finished repainting the missing parts of the poems on Westerdoksplein. The weather was great, all went smooth, nobody complained, the end.

based on the poem Afscheid by J.C. Bloem

More adventures in Amsterdam. After an angry neighbour complained about it, the municipal cleaning department wiped out most of the poems on Westerdoksplein. Since it was an appointment by the city council I got commissioned to repaint the missing parts. This time the angry neighbour called the police [who weren’t informed about this project] so I had to stop painting mid-sentence. Watch this space!

I spent the best part of today wearing sweat filled rubber handshoes spraypainting poems on the Westerdoksplein in Amsterdam. I’m quite pleased with the endresult but I got burnt by the sun like an idiot.
The gentlemen delivering the poems are Paul Rood and Tsead Bruinja. Pictures by Tsead & Margje Muusse.

might have gone a bit overboard with the coloring. or maybe not.
