This week I spent three days making a portrait of Dutch prince, soon to be king, Willem Alexander. This took place in the old inner city of Breda.
The portrait was made using only Dremels, resulting in what you could call the world’s largest woodcut [maybe], at 4 x 4,5 meters.
In the execution I got help from Erik olde Hanhof.
Images taken from a timelapse movie made by KJ van Gorkom.
portrait of Thomas Bayes (1701 – 1761) for Research World magazine
Tim Dog R.I.P.
I published this drawing on 27 october 2010 originally.
Based on some words of wisdom spoken by Tim Dog on the track I Get Wrecked, featuring KRS-One.
Poster I made to raise attention to Kristien Hemmerechts’ stint as VUsionary and “schrijver op locatie” at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
Unfortunately my work got changed without consulting me while I was on holiday. So this is how it was supposed to be, not the version you can see hanging at the VU.
A series of portraits I did of the management board of the AMG Metallurgical Group, for their annual report of 2011.
